Cathie Wood's ARK bags $5M in Bullish shares as the exchange celebrates US launch

Cathie Wood's ARK Invest just doubled down on its Bullish bet, scooping up over $5M in shares across multiple ETFs as the crypto exchange celebrates its US debut. This isn't their first rodeo - ARK's been loading up on Bullish since their $1.1B NYSE IPO.

The breakdown: ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) grabbed 72,537 shares, ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) added 21,354, and ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) picked up 11,122 shares. This comes right after ARK dropped $8.27M on Bullish shares in mid-October through two funds.

Remember when Bullish went public? ARK went all-in with a massive $172M purchase across its funds during the IPO. The stock's looking solid too - Bullish shares climbed 1.24% on Friday to close at $50.57, shaking off earlier market volatility.

This buying spree timed perfectly with Bullish's US launch party in NYC, where crypto heavyweights gathered to celebrate the expansion. The exchange literally posted 'The energy in the room said it all — the future is Bullish' on X after the event.

Bullish just secured the regulatory green light with both a BitLicense AND money transmission license from New York, officially launching spot trading across 20 US states. They're rolling with BitGo and Nonco as their first clients on the platform.

Since their global launch in 2021, Bullish has processed over $1.5 TRILLION in trades and now ranks among the top 10 exchanges by Bitcoin (BTC $109,977) and Ether (ETH $3,866) volume. The exchange is backed by Block.one and led by CEO Tom Farley - these guys aren't playing around.
