Talos adds $45M to Series B with new backing from Robinhood, Sony
Digital asset infrastructure provider Talos raised a $45 million extension to its Series B funding round, valuing the company at about $1.5 billion.

Talos just bagged $45M more — now at $150M total with Robinhood & Sony jumping in

Talos just extended its Series B round with a fresh $45M injection, pushing the total to $150M and valuing the crypto infrastructure giant at a cool $1.5B. New money came from Robinhood Markets, Sony Innovation Fund, IMC, QCP, and Karatage — plus returning heavyweights a16z crypto, BNY, and Fidelity Investments.
CEO Anton Katz said they extended the round "to accommodate interest from strategic partners." The cash will fuel product dev across trading, portfolio management, execution, treasury, settlement tools — and support tokenized traditional assets on their platform.
Talos is a NYC-based firm founded in 2018 that builds software for institutional clients to trade, manage, and settle digital assets across exchanges, OTC desks, custodians, and liquidity providers.
Revenue and client base have doubled over the past two years. They've also integrated with BlackRock's Aladdin system and acquired blockchain analytics firm Coin Metrics in a $100M deal back in July.

Crypto infrastructure is still a capital magnet

This raise drops as investors are doubling down on crypto payments and market infrastructure — especially platforms focused on settlement, stablecoins, and institutional-scale financial rails.
In October, Stripe secured $500M for its blockchain initiative Tempo in a Series A led by Greenoaks and Thrive Capital, valuing the project at $5B.
Most recently, crypto payments infra company Mesh raised $75M in a Series C round led by Dragonfly Capital to scale its global crypto payments network.
