Michael Saylor Claps Back: 'We Are Buying' Bitcoin, Not Dumping
Michael Saylor just shut down the FUD hard — Strategy's exec chair denied reports that the company was offloading Bitcoin during yesterday's flash crash. In a Friday X post, Saylor called BS on claims that Strategy dumped ~47,000 BTC ($4.6B at press time).
Saylor's exact words: 'No truth' to the sell-off rumors. Instead, he confirmed Strategy is BUYING MORE BTC as the price tanked 4%+ in 24 hours — from over $100K to under $95K.

Strategy still holds the crown with ~640,000 BTC in its treasury — but its dominance is slipping. In October, crypto exchanges like Coinbase and BTC treasury firm Metaplanet out-bought Strategy.
Meanwhile, Strategy's MSTR stock on Nasdaq took a hit — down 17%+ in five days to $205.38 at publication.
US Government Shutdown Ended — But Where's The BTC Pump?
The 43-day US government shutdown ended this week — and while stocks rallied short-term, Bitcoin's long-term reaction is still MIA.
BTC did spike to $106K+ on Sunday as optimism grew about a funding deal. It surged again Wednesday after the House passed a continuing resolution and President Trump signed it into law.
But when the government actually reopened Thursday? BTC dropped below $100K, according to Nansen data. So much for that guaranteed moon mission.
